Welcome to fall! Cool weather, shorter days and the holidays are just around the corner! We, at Balance Design, wanted to share with you our excitement for the season and some of our most recent projects! 			From Manhattan to Chastain Park We are so excited about a home we recently did for a family who moved from a Fifth Avenue apartment in New york City to a much larger home in Chastain Park. The family of three already had some beautiful furniture and artwork, but they needed Balance Design's help to make their much larger environment warm and welcoming. In the library, for example, Stephanie Andrews and the Balance Design team created a glamorous and sophisticated adult space that was still comfortable enough for the occasional visit by the clients' young child. We used a modern Nepalese wool/silk rug and a creative picture wall featuring original, local art, found objects and an interesting mirror, all of which enhance the rooms' color scheme and add a bit of edginess in the space. In three months, we completed much of the first floor and will soon begin helping with the second floor. We'll keep you posted on our progress, but you can see more photos here.
