Stephanie Andrews - Founder   Stephanie Andrews founded Balance Design in 2002 after being encouraged by her family to pursue her dream of starting her own design firm. Since then, she and her team have created hundreds of curated interiors ranging from single rooms to entire homes.  Stephanie is an intuitive listener who is especially attentive to the needs and aesthetic preferences of individual clients. Her discerning eye for color, furniture, rugs, and art has become a hallmark of her design aesthetic, allowing her to incorporate clients’ own furniture with new pieces. The result is beautiful, authentic spaces that leave a lasting impression.

Margo - Operations Manager   Margo is an ATL transplant from “The Sunshine State” where she obtained her Bachelor’s & Master’s Degrees from the University of Florida. With over 10 years working in the Sports Industry, Margo is embracing this new adventure as our Operations Manager. Her marketing experience, community relations background and meticulous attention to detail, has helped to make her an excellent addition to the Balance Design team.

Shelby Adamson - Senior Designer   Shelby hails from Florida with a degree in Merchandising & Textile Design from FSU. Always having a passion for design she curated her experience first in kitchen and bath product and then moved onto spatial planning and finally into interior design. Shelby joined the Balance Design team in the summer of 2015, she brings her love of timeless design mixed with each client’s personality to create one of a kind spaces. An eternal student, she is always pushing herself to embrace new and innovative ideas, but also adding a bit of whimsy in her designs.

Jennifer Carter - Senior Designer   Jennifer is an Atlanta native, who grew up Decatur and graduated with BFA in Interior Design from the University of Georgia. With over 15 years of experience in residential and commercial design, as well as product design, Jennifer joined Balance Design in 2018. She has a passion for incorporating old and new elements within each of her designs, as well as a love of building materials and finding new ways to repurpose them. When Jennifer is not designing or slowly tackling DIY projects around the house, she enjoys dabbling in gardening and spending time with her husband, Daimon, and rambunctious 5 year old son, Johnathan.

Chauncey - Office Pup   Balance Design's unofficial greeter and therapy dog, Chauncey enjoys rugs of all kinds and soft fabric memos. He is inspired by treats, walks in Midtown, and belly rubs, and feels it is his calling in life to make people feel welcome in any space.
